One Thing

Many days it is hard to reflect on being grateful for where Dhon and this family are at in life. It is hard not to want more and be ungrateful for this journey. Then other days like today I am so grateful everything and everyone that has been a part of this journey and a part of my personal journey.

Today, I would like to reflect on the immense love that Jesus has for us all. I’ve experienced some great acts of love by a few key people in my life and that one thing has been enough to sustain me through lifes biggest struggles and will continue to empower me to do so.

Love is a powerful thing. It has the ability to heal and the ability to restore. We see Jesus do that so much through the Bible. His greatest commandment was to love one another. I have been loved and seen love in so many ways, I cannot deny it’s power. Thank you to all those who have loved me, love me and will love me in the future. It means more than you know. I love you too.

I have also recently been grateful for Canaan in Dhon and my life. My biggest prayer as a bigger brother was to have a close brother in Christ for Dhon. He found that in Canaan. A man who always wanted what was best for Dhon and had his back no matter what. A man who saved his life literally and continued to influence Dhon (and me for that matter) to continue to pursue the ultimate life giver, God. Thankful for you my brother, thanks for being an inspiration to us both.

Love did. Love is. Love does. Love will.
