Proverbs 18:24

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
    but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Through this journey with Dhon, we have become closer than ever. Closer than the brotherly bond we have. Dhon has taught me a lot through this journey, he has revealed many characteristics of God and Jesus I never would have found. I pray the despite my faults and mistakes Dhon would also be able to see God working through me as I support him in his recovery journey.

It is undeniable that God is working and I am grateful for each day we get to spend together.

We have found ourselves in another transition to another facility to continue his progress. Transitions are difficult as we adjust to the new team and routine. I was fortunate enough to be able to have brother sleep overs for the week as Dhon and I comfort each other with all the newness. Despite waking up multiple times in the night, it was a blessing to be able to spend literally 24/7 with each other for the first week at the new place.

More to come on the new place, God has been very gracious in his provision!
