Hands down the best barbershop in Lincoln. We believe that Dhon got one of the freshest cuts he has ever had. Our barber took great care of Dhon, put in his time, effort and showed patience to cut Dhon given his condition. Dhon was so happy with the cut and was smiling the entire time. Dhon has found a new permanent barber for the rest of his life haha.

As you saw in the other blog, we have been blessed with a van. We are planning to take Dhon back to Minnesota so he can connect with some family there and see some familiar places, faces and dogs.

It will be our first big trip since the accident, so there is a lot of prep that needs to happen, but we know this family has been resilient and has been able to make anything work for Dhon. So we are excited for whatever struggles and prep we will face.

Dhon continues to progress in rehab one step or improvement at a time. Just like any discipline you don’t see immediate gains right away. Athletes, scholors, artists etc. Don’t become the top of their game over night. It has been about a year and half and Dhon made strides, but we are reminded that this is a long slow process. Which will make it all the better when we see Dhon in his final form.
